Something Substantial

Yes, I realize the 'substantial' is probably spelled incorrectly. I could care less, so...~

Anyways, guys, I want to do something... something great... I was on youtube watching some Teens React videos, and came across the ones about bullying and suicides, and shootings, and that horrible horrible stuff that our nation has come to...

And it got me thinking. Why does all this happen? What if it continued to happen? Could it eventually take over everything?

I was inspired to write a new novel, about things like thing. Yes, it would be a dystopian/fiction thing, because that's all I write, but it has a message. I want to get people thinking. And that's what I'm going to aim to do... so keep an eye out for my journal posts about ~The Bullet Game~ That's what I'll be calling it for now, but if anyone has any other ideas, please let me know.

What it's about:

Basically, it will be a story following the life of Kassy. She's bullied, and her family is broken down. Her mom disappears at night and her dad has resolved to take drugs to ease his pain. At school, she is distracted by teasing about her bruses, and is make fun of because of her appearance. She's torn down because she tries to stick up for other people... one day, the school calls an assembley to talk about growing crime rates and shootings. That's when she realizes that everything is just a game to the people who hurt others. To see who can make the biggest dent in society. A couple of days after that, her classroom is invaded by a rebel Game Group, who begin shooting her classmates. Samuel, her crush who has watched her been bullied for years, gathers the few surviving students and teachers of the school to make a plan of escape. The school is surrounded by enemy the enemy group, and will remain until every body has been accounted for and taken from the school... it's about Samuel and Kassy's group and their story of survival among their collapsing nation... and Kassy's determination to cause the killings to falter.
